In addition to being a former submarine officer in the US Navy, Mike Bress has spent much of his career working in different aspects of building entrepreneurial businesses.  On the investor side, he has advised on the financial structure for multiple new business ventures, including joint ventures, VC-backed start-ups, and internal private equity investments and was the CFO of a $150B asset manager with significant investments in the VC/PE world.  As an entrepreneur, he has built the operations of many early-stage businesses, including financial institutions, payments companies, and technology companies.  And, as a senior financial leader for hire with a focus on technology-related companies, he has helped many entrepreneurs grow strategically, increase cash flow, and prepare for outside investment.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA focused on Finance and Strategy from Georgetown University.
