Karen’s professional career included conservation, higher education fund raising and development, arts and culture.  Her community service has spanned public education, youth leadership development, environment and sustainability, and civic engagement.  Entrepreneurship and social enterprise are more recent, emerging passions. In recent years she has served in multiple interim executive director roles with nonprofits.
