Clare was the co-founder of Quince & Apple, an artisan food manufacturing company. She and her husband Matt scaled the business for 15 years and sold in 2023. She then served as Executive Director of FairShare, a nonprofit focused on sustainable agriculture and food security, through 2025. Clare is also a fourth generation leader in her family business, The Heritage Group, participating for 16 years in family and business governance roles. Her focus is on stewardship of family growth and change management, along with serving on the board overseeing business operations in construction, chemicals, environmental services and new ventures. She holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a BS in Biology from University of Wisconsin.
